We are pleased that you are interested in us and that you are applying or have applied for a position in our company. In the following, we would like to provide you with information on the processing of your personal data in connection with your application.

What data from you are processed by us? And for what purpose?

We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the job (or, if applicable, other open positions in our companies) and to carry out the application process.

What legal basis is this based on?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application process is primarily § 26 BDSG in the version valid from 05/25/2018. According to this, the processing of the data necessary in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship is permitted.

If the data may be necessary for prosecution after completion of the application process, data processing can be carried out on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular for the protection of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest then consists in asserting or defending claims.

How long will the data be stored?

Data of applicants will be deleted after 6 months in the event of cancellation. In the event that you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There, the data will be deleted after two years.

If you have been awarded a job as part of the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.

To which recipants will the data be further provided?

Your applicant data will be reviewed by the HR department and the management after receipt of your application. Suitable applications will then be forwarded internally to the department managers for the respective open position. Then the further procedure will be voted on. In principle, only those persons in the company who need this for the proper course of our application process have access to your data.

Where will the data be processed?

The data is processed exclusively on servers and in data centers of the Federal Republic of Germany and France (providers).

Your rights as "data subject"

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you. In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then Request proof from you that you are the person you impersonate.

Furthermore, you have a right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to this.

Furthermore, you have a right to object to the processing within the scope of the legal requirements. The same applies to a right to data portability.

Right to complain

You have the right to complain about the processing of personal data by us to a supervisory authority for data protection.
